Commercial Description:
Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

Golden yellow woth a lasting light tan head. Aroma of juniper and grapefruit. Somewhat sweet flavor, with graperfruit rind bitterness. Smooth, medium body with a nice mellow, lingering bitterness.

12oz bottle via trade with slob! - Thanks Bert! - Pours golden with a short white head that stays pretty well. Aromas of nice grapefruit and floral hops. Flavor is much more balanced though. Nice grains and caramel malts balanced nicely with floral and grapefruit hops. Somewhat bitter finish. Very crisp and clean on the palate. This one is a winner. Nice example of the style!

12oz Bottle viz trade from Kramer17801: The beer pours a deep golden orange yellow color. A thick foamy, white-ish head erupts to slowly fade away. There is some signifigant carbonation throughout. The aroma is prominent of green apples and lots of hops, with undertones of citrus and pine. The flavor is malty sweet up front and hoppy finish. There is also some citrus flavors, maybe a little caramel.

Had this on the engine @ SHARP EDGE...pretty damn good. Color was a light orange. Smell was strong with hops and earth. Taste is fairly bitter and citrusy (as expected). Mouthfeel was smooth and great...the cask really servers this beer well.

as stated, very hoppy aroma, expected more bitter, not disappointed, has a caramel like quality, bubbles on the tongue, impressive

Thanks AdamSkillin for the bottle. Very hoppy on the aroma. A little closer to amber than copper in color. The flavor manages to stay hoppy without overwhelming bitterness. Solid brew

Wow, you can smell hoppiness from miles away on this one. Head lingers, I would say more yellow than copper for the color. Actually smells kinda like the close cousin of the hops plant, Mary Jane. Actually a really pleasant taste, and not as bitter as I thought it would be. Huge hop flavor and aroma, not too much malt. Real nice beer.
