Commercial Description:
Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

Pours an amber color with a white head. Decent citrus and pine hop aroma with some caramel malts. Flavor is citrus and pine hops right away but the flavor diminishes for only a slight hoppy finish. Caramel malts don’t blend as well as I would think they would from the aroma. Not bad.

pours clear golden with light white head. faint pine and citrus aroma. Bite of the carbonation fades then Cascade hops come through. Hop flavor is slightly grassy with a bit of an aftertaste, malt plays second fiddle. Palate is light. A pretty straightforward beer.

Bottle. Pours gold with an off white head. The aroma brings a solid dose of citric hops. The flavor is nicely balanced with zesty citrus, floral hops, and sweet malt. Nice.

Poured a clear copper color from a bottle. Aroma of citrus hops with a taste of spicey, citrus and piney hops balanced with bready malts. Nice drinkable beer.

This is a great offering from Troeg The beer pours a wonderful golden copper color with a bone white head. The taste up front is spicy pine hops but after that you get a nice subtle malty taste. The aroma is the same spicy hops with subtle malts. This is a very drinkable beer for sure. Almost and IPA in its hop.

12 oz bottle and on tap. Pours clear golden yellow with decent white foamy head leaving lots of lace. Aroma of citrus hops. Nice hoppy flavor with trace of malts. Taste of hops are dominating, but not overhelming. Nice malt character as well. Well balanced and very drinkable.!

12oz I got today at Chevy Chase Wine and Liquor. Pours golden orange with a 2 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and light with a good hop to malt balance. Taste is more on the hop side than I expected and a bit on the bitter hop side. A little too bitter for a pale for me.
