Jun 8, 2008 Gift from Singlemalter: Pours a reddish-brown body with a decent sized head. Has plenty of nutty aromas and nutty taste- roasted nuts particularly. Not a whole lot of carbonation. A really nice nut brown, might be one of my new favorites in that category.

Jun 6, 2008 My bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry -- courtesy of Thaichile. Pours ruby-brown with a small diminishing frothy tan head. Aroma’s nutty and toasty along with chocolate, caramel and light hops. Flavour of caramel malt, nuts, notes of chocolate and some light hops in the finish. Perhaps a tad watery. Medium bodied. Pretty good -- nothing outstanding here, just a good Nut Brown.

Black brown pour with a thin tan head. Thin subtle nose of slightly sweet malt. Flavor is light and sweet with a small hint of roasted malt in there. Mouthfeel isn’t great but it works here with a medium carbonation and is light in weight.

May 30, 2008 Twelve ounce bottle. Pours dark brown with a little red. Little to no head. Aroma is not strong and very malty. Very smooth, no aftertaste. Taste is sweet and nutty

May 28, 2008 Bottle (12oz). Shared by blankboy. Deep clear ruby pour, small frothy beige head. Dry, nutty, leafy aroma, dry cocoa and floral bitterness. Taste follows, light, soft, easy to drink, just a touch of bottle metal. Watery mouthfeel, dry and mildly astringent with a quick finish and no aftertaste. I think this would be very very good on cask.

Pours a dark translucent brown with ruby highlights, beige head with medium retention. Aroma is a nice chocolate. Flavor is light chocolate, slight nutty, with balanced hop flavor & bitter. Palate I was dissapointed with, just seemed pretty watery with medium-high carbonation. Over all, it seemed more like a tasty session beer......not bad at all.....

May 21, 2008 One of my favorite session beers. Aroma is sweet vanilla ant nuts. Pours dark brown with thin off white head. Taste is nutty and vanilla, very smooth on the palate, with a solid malt finish. A very good brown!
