Dickinsonbeer shared this 12 oz bottle. Brown in color with alot of ruby highlights, pretty light for a porter. Aroma is light roast and chocolate, mostly caramel. Taste has chocolate, light roast, caramel. Medium bodied. Finishes with a light hop bitterness.

Bottle from Capones. Brown pour with off white head. Typical roast aroma with roast and coffee flavor but it felt thin in the mouth and just came up a little short for me. It’s ok.

A thin, primitive porter that rounds the expected bases. A bit more red and watery than I prefer, but it’s fun to take a look at the early days of Troegs.

12 oz. bottle via trade with jasonmech77 - Pours a brown color with a one and a half finger thick light tan head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, herbal hops, peat, and dried fruit. Flavor is roasted malt, peat, and light esters with a hop bite. Palate is a little thin and quite dry. A nice beer. Thanks Jason.

Pours a clear brown, with a decent two finger head that disappears rather quickly. Spotty lacing. Roasted malt, with a hint of citrus. Very dry, with a little bitter after taste.

This hit the typical porter notes - plenty malty. A bit watery, but not bad at all.
