Oct 19, 2007 Bottle from Zathrus. poured relatively clear yellow, but did cloud up in the glass a little bit. Descent half inch thick head. Nose was yeast, spicy, banana as well as other light fruits mingled together. I was astonished when I saw it had 10abv. Well hidden throughout. Went down real nice, and was very enjoyable. Now to get my hands on scratch 4.

Oct 17, 2007 GABF ’07. Pours yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, hay, straw), average hops (herbs), average yeast (earth) with notes of banana. Medium bodied, alcoholic texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Oct 12, 2007 KSBF07 Poured a golden color aroma was all grassy hops. Flavor was banana grass, missed the spices i was looking for though. Not bad but nothing amazing.

Oct 12, 2007 Draft at KSBF07. Pour was well-carbonated cloudy golden appearance. The aroma was firm grassy hop presence over top of the usual fruity-banana ester, phenolic-clovey spice combo. The flavor was sharply clove-like phenols, some bananas, finishing with some grassy character. It seemed like a cranked up version of their hefeweizen. Desired more spicey zing.

Oct 10, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of apricot, mustiness, light citrus, coriander, nuts, wood, and earthiness. Flavor of coriander, spicy yeast, light citrus, some pepper, and candi sugar.

Oct 8, 2007 (KSq07, draft) Cloudy light apple cider body, small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, mango/peach/orange, some spice/funk. Taste is moderately sweet, Belgian yeast, herbal/grassy, some orange, light alcohol. Medium body.

Oct 4, 2007 12 oz. bottle via trade with jasonmech77 - Pours a hazy light golden color with a thin white head that faded pretty quick. Has a big bread and veggie aroma. Flavor is grain and esters. Medium body. The alcohol kicks in toward the finish. Would have never guessed it was an Abbey Tripel. Still, a decent beer. Thanks Jason.
