ndfreak77 (76), USA May 12, 2008 Updated: Jul 9, 2008 I’m not sure why this is so higly rated. I had this from a tap a the local watering hole and it tasted like a pine cone. I normally love troegs and I don’t hate pilseners. Maybe I got a bad batch.
glennmastrange (462), hobe sound, Florida, USA Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Light malt note of straw, light grass and lemon for the hops, light earth for the yeast and a hint of wood. Head is small, fizzy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light gold. Flavor starts light to moderately acidic and finishes lightly acidic and light to moderately bitter. Palate is light, dry and has a lively carbonation. A nice Pilsener and a really good drinking beer jjpm74 (3448), Connecticut, USA Oct 23, 2008 Bottle courtesy of MrChpoin. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of dry malt, some floral hints. Tastes dry and lightly bitter with a grassy finish. djrn (60), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA Oct 23, 2008 One of my favorite summer brews. Light and crisp but not to hoppy. Excellent. awaisanen (1189), Irvine, California, USA Sep 13, 2008 From a 12oz Bottle. Courtesy of CharlesDarwin. Mostly transparent, pale gold color with a thick head of small bubbled, light, fluffy white foam. Clean aroma of herbal and floral hops over as subtle pilsner malt base. Hints of lemon. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a soft, doughy malt texture. Excellent mouthfeel considering the lightness of the body and the carbonation cleanses the palate perfectly. Flavor of light grassy hops, lemon, and a subtle malt sweetness. Finishes dry and clean, with a lingering bitterness and a subtle sulphury bite. Clean, well executed pilsner overall, with an excellent mouthfeel, pleasant hoppiness, and refreshing finish. My only complaint is that the malt flavors are a bit thin, never developing that rich pilsner malt flavor that the best examples deliver. Thanks, Tom! Homer321 (120), Rockledge, Florida, USA Sep 7, 2008 Courtesy of JoeKinty. pours with good clarity a super light straw color. slight lemon taste, but not much bittering hops. nothing spectacular, but very easy drinking.
