| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2009 This was a brew I was sure to open on Christmas eve! the only problem was its very hot,The alcohol dominates, and cuts the flavor alot, there is some fruit and sweet malt, but it needs aging, a good brew, but sit on it for abit! Thanks to secret santa! Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Bomber. Pours a reddish-amber with a small white head. No carbonation, No lacing. Pretty bland looking. Aroma is sweet cherries, malts belgian yeast. Taste is same, Very sweet, cherries and small honey flavor. Full body-sticky texture. Long finish. I was actually very unimpressed with this beer. Will get you drunk on a cold winter night but one’s all you need. Probably won’t be returning to this anytime soon. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 23, 2009 Pours a clear ruby red with no head. It looks kind of flat. Aroma is sweet malts, spice, and cherries. The taste had a nice Belgian base. There was slight cherries throughout with hints of banana and spice. Although alcohol was evident, it did not taste like an 11% ABV beer. It actually seemed a bit watered down. This was a decent drink but one was just enough. It is definitely a sipping beer. shawnm213 (997), South Bend, Indiana, USA

Sweet fruity malts dominate this mule kicking brew. body is big and sweet. Pours a deep amber with ruby tones about the edges. White fizzy head. Mouthfeel lingers and is dominated by malts and light, light spice. Slept well after this baby. PhatB420 (137), Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 18, 2009 From a 22oz bomber, this brew is dim cherry red and tastes like a squeezed berry from a juice factory. Settles slowly at first with the ABV treking though the berry patch it came from like a snail. But the warmth from the fire exhausts the very so diligent comfort that the Mad Elf brings. A nice holdiay brew.
