Taste is very hoppy, malty, floral and fruity with orange peel.
Trois Dames has again managed to offer beers that are very unfamilar in Switzerland. Something that not everyone might enjoy. My Swiss family could not really bear the bitterness of Trois Dames’ IPA and Ale.
I enjoyed their IPA a lot beter. JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Jun 25, 2008 Draught Good off-white head, slightly hazy amber beer with mossy shine. Punch of UK-hops, extremely convincing nose. Sweeter than expected, liquorice and rosewater flavours. Ends on UK hops, but very discreet. Light to medium bodied. A little heavier punch of hoppy bitterness might make this one a real winner. Thanks, capt! SubCapt (22), Switzerland May 14, 2008 greatsession beer, bronnze-coloured. slight haze, rich nose with exotic fruit, red fruit notes on solid malt base. gentle carbonation, balanced nutty malt, fruity, hoppy palate, nice crisp hoppy finish.
