sebletitje (269), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 15, 2008 25cl bottle.
Pours amber with white head.
Aroma is very hoppy and earthly yeast.
Taste. I found it to be a good version of the US type of IPA but something was missing.
It is filled with hops, some fruits, floral taste and light bitter note. Some caramel sugar.
It felt like having a good US IPA right in the mountains of Switzerland. ekstedt (1800), Göteborg, Sweden Jul 6, 2008 Sampled at the RSBEG08 grand tasting. Hazy orange to amber with a medium white head. Strong grapefruity hoppy aroma, completely unbalanced. cgarvieuk (2384), Edinburgh, Scotland Jul 6, 2008 Bottled at RBESG 08 ... Hazy yellow ... light fruity nose ... sweet but tart juicy hops... SubCapt (22), Switzerland May 14, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with nice, tight, isf small head. Intense resiny, grassy, herbal hops in the nose, with a solid malt base, which transfers beautifully on the palate into a beautifully balanced, hoppy IPA, with plenty of seville orange jam and a touch of red fruit. Crisp, lingering, very bitter finish. Again, very untypical of a Swiss brewery, but completely true to style and convincing.
