omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 26, 2008 Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden, rich airy head. Funky orangey wheat malt a SubCapt (22), Switzerland May 14, 2008 Pours a hazy bronze, very lively, big puffy head. Amazingly complex spicy nose, black pepper, aniseed, licorice, coriander, citrus and more... although no spices are used. Clearly a result of the warm-ish fermentation with a saison yeast. Same spicy, peppery palate, with sizeable fruitiness and a nice hoppy edge, lingering, complex, crisp finish. Definitely more complex than its Saison Houblon stablemate, and truly unexpected in the Swiss landscape. ante (2525), Stockholm, Sweden May 10, 2008 Bottled, thanks omhper! Pours out in a cloudy dark yellow colour with a rich eruptive white foam. Dry and fresh fruity aroma of lemon, hay, cumin, herbs, cinnamon, funk and oranges. Medium-bodied with touches of lemon, cumin,, coriander, yeast, pepper and lavendel. Dryish and fresh finish of yeast, pale biscuity malts, orange-peels and herbs. Another nice beer from Trios Dames! austone (447), Turku; Pori, Finland Apr 9, 2008 Golden, huge rocky head. Malty nose with yeast, spicess and hay-like hops. Some citric wheat and light smokiness even. Flavor yeasty and spicy, wheat malt and bitter hops in the dry, a bit chalky finish. Hint of warming alcohol. Medium bodied, quite light palate. Nice spicy saison. TBone (5116), Pori, Finland Apr 4, 2008 Bottled
Orange color with floating yeast particles, huge cloudy white head - very lively beer. Spicey, peppery, almost glueish aroma - typical saison. Dry, fizzy carbonation, peppery with some fruity sweetness. Spicey aftertaste. Solid saison. Excellent brewery!
