Pours a warm chestnut brown. Aroma is honey, malty, some earthy notes coming in on the end. Flavor is moderately sweet, with an almost tea like quality on the finish. Pretty nice stuff.

Dark orange pour, no head, slight haze. Herbs and caramel on the aroma, almost malt-like character to the sweet aroma, reminds me a lot of flan. Apple-like tastes in the beginning, musk in the middle, nice rich finish. Nice mead.
