Jun 22, 2008 Dark brown colored with cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Chocolaty, nutty and strawberry aroma with some hops and cacao, some lemon also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is more berry with dry yeasts and caramel. Aftertaste is dry still with yeast. Well, decent brew.

May 19, 2008 Brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, caramel and hops. Flavor likewise with chocolate notes and a mild bitter end.

Apr 14, 2008 Muddy brown colour with medium beige head.Aroma of rosted malt caramel and brown bread.Feels mild and tasty short sweet finish.

Feb 8, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber colour with a huge mostly lasting off white head and some lacing. Aroma and taste of slightly roasted malts and sweet chocolate. A brown ale on the sweet side.

Feb 1, 2008 Medium offwhite head shrinks quickly. Deep dark red body. Sweetish vinuous aroma of port and red berries with chocolatey notes. Sweet roasty chocolatey taste with port and red berry notes. Mild, clean mouthfeel. Dry, roasty chocolatey aftertaste. Maybe a bit on the sweet side for something with so little body and hops, but I really liked it. (0.5l bottle traded from Beer2000. BBD of June 2007.)
