yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway May 24, 2008 Bottle, #677/1200, thx to Maria. A hazy, orange-yellowish beer with some yeast sediments. Nice, white head. Orange-citrusy, sweetish, wheaty nose with some heather-notes. Citrusy flavor with some spice and honey notes, and a touch of coriander. Very effervescent and dryish in the mouth. Lasting fruity, citrusy finish with coriander. Slightly warming in the mouth as well. The beer is low on honey aroma and flavor, and that’s good, it works better if it’s just a gentle touch of honey. Quite nice one. (080412) thewolf (3490), Kolding, Denmark Oct 4, 2007 Updated: Oct 8, 2007Bottle. Bought @ Kolding Vinhandel. Bottle #15 of 1200 bottles Poured in my Weizen glass. A wonderful golden-ish yellow-orange, quite hazy, lots of rather big bubbles reaching towards to surface. Head is bubbly, off-white and a little fizzy. Aroma is heavy banana, vanilla, honey. Medium carbonation, quite creamy. Flavour is sweet at first, banana and wheat. Light viniousness. Finish is slightly peppery bitter with a twist of honey and lemons. The honey is quite subdued (which, in my opinion, is nice). Nice, and reminds me of the Weihenstephaner Vitus. Enjoyit (1088), Vadum, Denmark Apr 15, 2008 Hazy yellow of color with a white head. An aroma of citrus, spice, oak and sweet notes. A flavor of sweets, honey, spice and wheat. faroeviking (4124), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Dec 9, 2007 Bottle # 169 out of 1200. Pours a nice cloudy orange colour with a good head. Sweet honey aroma, slight sourness and with flowers. The flavour has a good bitter frutiness with honey, good maltiness, yeast and lemon. More like a Belgion Double or and Imperial Weiss Bier. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 50 cL bottle (169/1200), thanks to faroeviking. Pours hazy yellow with a diminshing white head. Slight orange fruity and a fresh aroma. Flavour has a distinct mellow spiced flavour, much like a belgian blonde/triple. Ends with a decent bitterness and some orange fruity note. Nice.
