(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Cloudy, light golden colour with a medium-sized, not very persistent frothy white head. Yeasty and very sweet, slightly sugary pale malty, grainy aroma with floral and slightly fruity notes and loads of coriander spice. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a crispy carbonation. Moderately yeasty, malt-accented and quite wheaty and grainy taste with a light to moderate fruity note; sweet and minimal sour-fruity finish with light floral and spicy notes. A bit overspiced, but still fairly drinkable (23.04.08).

Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet, fruit, yeast. Flavour is sweet, fruit, alcohol, yeast, hop. OK beer, could be more.

Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. Clear light to medium yellow amber color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (150408)

May 23, 2008 Bottle. The beer pours with some yeast clouds in an else clear, golden body, and with a minimal white head. Fruity and slightly piney nose, with tropical fruits, mostly pineappel, and a dusty feeling. The flavor is sweet and fruity, some tropical fruits here too. There’s also something strange I can’t really place, and some bitterness. Lasting effervescency, and finish with fruityness dominating. A bit strange for a tripel, but quite nice. (080411)
