Nov 3, 2008 Bonus portato da Peppo per la serata di sabato, una straordinaria birra del Troll che svela con grande delicatezza il suo carattere affumicato (l’aroma è reso un po’ generico, ma nel sapore il bilanciamento è sopraffino). Una delle rauch più raffinate che abbia mai bevuto.

Aug 24, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle at GBBF.
Golden brown with a thin off white head. Lovely spicy malt in the aroma with good fruity notes and faint smokiness. Peaty and smoky flavour that could probably do with a little more malt but remains reasonably balanced. Restrained but pleasant enough smoked character with a spicy hint to the finish. Very clean and dry in the mouth. A reasonable smoked beer.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Small and quickly disappearing off-white fluffy head. Hazy abricot colour. Abricot oranges aroma. Spicy fruity flavor with low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottled - GBBF 2008. A hazy brown colourd beer with an off-white head. The aroma is spicy and smoky. The taste has decent smoke harmonising with a little sweet spiciness. Pretty nice.

Aug 9, 2008 Bottle at GBBF ’08. Coppery gold with a small white head. Sweet nail varnish malt aroma. Taste is sweet with a furniture polish bitterness. Oh, I see it’s actually Scotch whisky. Fizzy. Odd beer which I liked at first sip, but which declined in appeal.
