Pours nicely orange with a small, staying, white head. Aroma has light smoke, spiciness, caramel. Light carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, caramel, light smoke, some spices, curry. Pretty nice and drinkable.

Nov 5, 2009 Bottled. Tnx thewolf. Aroma has some smoked meat, fruity malts and spice. Clear, copper coloured with an off-white, thin head. The taste is a bit bitter, bit fruity, smokey, peppery and yeasty. medium bodied. Good brew.

Aug 30, 2009 Bottle at the Relentless Thirst Gathering in Richmond, VA, 8.29.09. Pours a hazy light amber with a small head. Aroma of smoke, earthy spices and earthy hops. Taste is smoke, earthy spices, nuts and caramel. Medium bodied.

Aug 24, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle at GBBF.
Golden brown with a thin off white head. Lovely spicy malt in the aroma with good fruity notes and faint smokiness. Peaty and smoky flavour that could probably do with a little more malt but remains reasonably balanced. Restrained but pleasant enough smoked character with a spicy hint to the finish. Very clean and dry in the mouth. A reasonable smoked beer.
