Draught sample at C’est What Spring/06 Festival of Small Breweries. Deep ruby-black with a tan head. Aroma has some soy sauce at first (for me, at least - I had a couple of other people sniff it, and no-one else got soy sauce), but it soon becomes more sweet and roasty, and a bit smoky, with a slight sour tinge. Body is thin for a so-called "double" stout - felt more like a porter to me. The flavour is roasty with some chocolate and coffee hints - nice enough, but with a name like that, I expected to have my socks knocked off.

Draft @ C’est What FOSB. Black body, moderate oily chocolate head (3+). Mild roasty chocolate aroma. Roast picks up in flavour and chocolate takes on more of a dry cocoa character. Average to medium palate. (3+) Decent stout but the chocolate character is a bit less prominent and less milk chocolatey in that Youngs Double Chocolate kind of way than it could be. Pleasant though.
