Aug 27, 2009 On tap at Mangia Pizza in Austin. Really glad this beer came to town, especially on draught. Very classic German Pils, a style I have begun to appreciate more and more after the initial love affair with English and Belgian styles. Crisp, clean, no DMS. Excellent beer.

Aug 24, 2009 Lovely light/pale yellow, crystal clear with fine head that left a lace on the glass. I get plenty of grass an light malt smells. Clean light flavour, nicely bitter with a fresh finish. Quite enjoyable.

Aug 5, 2009 Draught at s’Kloane Brauhaus, Salzburg. Clear pale golden, small head. Overt grassy nose. Dry, crisp, yet rounded. More hoppy than most Austrian beers with grassy bitter fnish. A streamlined but nice pilsener.

Jun 7, 2009 A nice golden pour with good 1 inch head that lasts a few minutes. Good mineral and dry hop aroma that’s a little sweet and characteristic of a pils. Strong aroma for a pils. Decent malt and hops flavor that is well balanced. Light lacing. Great refresher on a hot day...

Jun 3, 2009 Huh, didnt realize it was an austrian beer brewed in Berkley, just thought it was a Berkley beer.
The beer itself was a nice dry, quick hitting pils thats perfect for a hot summer day.

May 31, 2009 Draft at Green Eye. Pours a pale yellow with a fine bubbled head. Nose is clean and malty, a little floral hop character, though mostly biscuity malts. On taste, very clean and a touch dusty with some mild sweet malt notes. The hop character is almost bland and just there to support the hops, not what I think of when I hear Pils. But still, very drinkable and decent.

May 26, 2009 12 oz bottle.. pours a translucent creamed corn color with no real aroma maybe a light spicey skunkiness... the initial hit to the palate is both refreshing and surprising with hints of floral hoppiness and an light bite that begs for another sip. Usually these types of pilsners are unimpressive but I really can grab ahold of this one. Good summer session pilsner with more to it than the typical pilsner... not bad.. not bad at all
