Bottle. A clear pale blonde beer, with a medium sized and disappearing white head. Enough hoppy nose for an Austrian Pils. Apart the grassy notes, there is also some bready malt. The flavour starts with a medium sweetness, then there are some grassy hops. soft mouthfeel, light to medium body, lively carbonation, dry and quite short finish with medium bitterness. An average beer, not the most refined in this style.

Clear yellow beer with a small white head. Pale malt, floral hop and some yeast in the nose, sweet malt, light citrus and some grassy hop in the flavor.

Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a slightly hazy light golden body topped by a small head of white foam with moderate lacing. Strong assertive aroma from the moment of opening the bottle, carrying notes of grass and citrus. Crisp mouthfeel, watery texture, with a dry flavor. The palate is fairly typical for the style with some grassy notes, but not much else. It is a easy to drink brew with little to no aftertaste.

Pours a sparkling, straw color with a moderately full, brilliant white, fluffy, rocky head which settles quickly to a very small layer and leaves minimal lace. Nose is typical with spicy, grassy hops and minimal, bready pils malt, maybe faint floral notes. Flavor is fair at best with a bready pils to start followed by lots of grass, moderate bitterness, and light spice. Palate is light, somewhat crisp, watery, and nearly lively. Finishes short, somewhat dry, and bitter with grass and faint bready notes. Fairly boring beer with no depth, not enough hop character or bitterness, and not as crisp and dry as most German Pilsners.

From a bottle in Wien, 2006. Very light color. Nice head. Fruity, hoppy aroma that is very nice. Also a good hop flavor with lots of fruit, but very light on the malt. Not much real malt depth at all. A very nice pils to be sure, but a bit too light for my tastes.

Nice fresh aroma. Citrus, hops and malts. Very clear flavor with no real heavy bitterness. Lighter than other imports.
