Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

330mL single bottle from the LCBO Stop Pours a pathetically pale yellow with way too much carbonation and fizz Stop As soon as I popped the cap off I could smell skunk, seriously, the very moment the cap came off Stop Wow Stop Bad smelling beer Stop Flavour is actually not bad though, pretty skunky but there is some decent hopppy dryness following some mediocre pale malts Stop Not as bad as I was expecting, and hey at least I can say I have had a Chinese beer, whether that really means much or not Stop I will actually almost enjoy finishing this Stop I will not have to stop drinking it Stop I just wish there was some sort of presence of legitimate craft beers in China and that they would stop making such boring stuff Stop

Pale yellow body with a small white head. Avarage aroma and flavor of a lager beer. Some sweet taste, some grassy bitterness, so an avarage beer from the other side of the world. But we have thousands of boring lagers, why was that beer delivered to Europe? The market is not enough in China.... Or what?

Pours light gold with a 1 finger white head that has decent retention. Aroma is grassy, and fresh corn. Flavor is grass, straw, corn. Finish is grassy and somewhat sweet. Lame beer at premium price.

[Bottled at a chinese reastaurant at Sveavägen, Sthlm] Golden with a brief, white head. A lot of bubbles. Pretty fresh mouthfeel. No bitterness with notes of oranges. Bland and industrial.

Yellow, overly carbonated beer that pretty much tastes like water in every single way. It even smells like water, plus a little metallic. That is right, water has a smell!

It looks like water, smells like water, tastes like water, and even feels like water. Hell, this is either the blandest beer or the best water - not sure which.
