| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Light yellow pour with a fizzy head. Very light sweet malt aroma and flavor. Perhaps the reason they mention the Laoshan is that it is the main flavor element. jsquire (2098), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Very pale yellow beer with lots of loose, fizzy bubbles. I got a big whiff of skunk as soon as I opened the bottle. The aroma had skunk, balloon rubber, and sticky sweetness in it. This is a sweet lager, with corn syrup, table sugar, and cotton candy, with a faint orange note. Really not much to recommend this, unless you like really sweet beer. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Bottle. Light yellow colour with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma. The flavour is hops, slightly sweet and some malts. For some reason this bottle had much more hops than Tsingtaos normally, so it was actually quite drinkable. tlind2 (560), Helsinki, Finland
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 21, 2008 330 ml bottle. Your basic, watery pale lager. Not much to recommend it, but I needed something to wash down the Chinese food with. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 21, 2008 12 oz bottle in WDW at the food and wine festival. It’s the michelob ultra of China - almost unbelievably light and taste-free. nhamilton (58), Cibolo, Texas, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Tried it at a Chines resteraunt. Not very good. Pours kind of flat to a small white head. Somewhat bitter taste that doesn’t get better with more than one. The body is light and the texture dry. matt7215 (955), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 3, 2008 Bottle (330cl). Straw yellow colour with neglible head. Slight hoppy aroma. Fullish malty palate with hardly any bitterness to finish. Refreshing but there are many better sessionable lagers out there.
