maniac4016 (114), bill clinton, Iceland Sep 1, 2008 hops dominate on nose, hoppy on palate with some malt back-bone, nice finish. MaltOMeal (642), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Aug 31, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, very pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose was skunky! Ugh! Why do they think a beer coming all the way from China would survive in green bottles? Stupid. Taste wasn’t horrible, but was definitely weak. Some grass and yeast, but definitely not something I can tolerate. Drain pour! blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 31, 2008 bottle, see through yellow color, burnt malty nose, head is large egg whites, sour malty flavor with a hoppy finish scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA Aug 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Taste is of malt, kind of sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Aroma is much the same. Pretty easy to drink and kind of refreshing. Pairs well with certain foods. Overall, this is a decent beer, but it is overpriced and kind of forgettable. vernaye (8), , New Jersey, USA does not count Aug 30, 2008 While not a great beer, Tsingtao is definitely serviceable. Best drunk out of a bottle or poured into a beer glass, avoid the larger versions. Tsingtao is not the bottom of the barrel, but it does elevate itself slightly above the crowd of awful beers below it. nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 30, 2008 Pours like apple cider from the bottle with a trim white head that quickly dissapates. Smells like a homeless person, yet offers balanced flavors of red apples and yeast in the taste. tgncc (796), Bellmore, New York, USA Aug 29, 2008 Aroma is malty and sweet, maybe some grass in there. The appearance is a dark yellow with an orange tinge, a dark color for this style. The flavor is malty and sweet, true to this style, but has a grassy and even spicy quality to it. This mujst be from the hops they use, or they adjuncts they put into it. No much hoppiness on the finish, more spicyness, and grass flavor. Different. Drinkable. guyinchicago (516), marengo, Illinois, USA Aug 23, 2008 well what better time to rate a beer from china.pours white to very pale and i mean pale yellow very thin head aromas are faint but a skunk funk comes over in this beerthe taste is light like they just had a glass of water and added a hop tea bag hold on while I spit this back in the glass this by far is the worst beer i have ever had a drain pour if i could give it a zero i would
