hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA Jun 16, 2008 Despite what the commercial description says... I can’t taste or smell any hops. A little malt. Not even close to a good lager. EHSRanders (1121), Randers C, Denmark Jun 5, 2008 Bottle at Chinese restaurant in Bayswater London. Clear pale yellow colour with large creamy white mostly lasting head. Malty aroma. Sweet flavor. rbod (25), Davie, Florida, USA Jun 3, 2008 This basically tasted like a Chinese Bud Light. If this beer isn’t so cold, you can’t taste the flavor, it’s not worth drinking. Tastes like water. polomagnifico (532), Saginaw, Michigan, USA Jun 2, 2008 bottle. Aroma of honey, malt and macro lager. Pale golden hue with average white head that fully diminished and left little lace. Flavor is honey hops and macro lager. Palate is light and lively. Not bad and better than most American brews but still crap. gfolivares (67), McAllen, Texas, USA Jun 2, 2008 Pale golden color with thin white head. Mild cereal grain aroma with hints of wet hay and citrus. Thin bodied with light mouthfeel, plenty of effervesence. Light sweet malt taste with gentle, crisp, somewhat dry hop finish. Very refreshing, great session beer. ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA May 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a little white head. Aroma is corn and light hops. Flavor much of the same. Pretty sharp mouthfeel served very cold. Not good, but definately refreshing. Dedollewaitor (3622), Odense, Denmark May 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a off white head. Mild malts - hay/grass with a medium & short bitterness. Watery . . bland! Capa (952), Yokosuka, Japan May 21, 2008 Updated: May 22, 2008Drank quite a bit of this in Shanghai and Hong Kong and it wasn’t bad at all. Crisp, clean flavor with mild hops and some malts. Body is a bit thin, but that actually adds to its drinkability. Was incredibly fresh. I imagine it’s not nearly as good outside of China due to the green bottle, but if you can find it fresh it’s a pretty respectable macro lager.
