Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Thin, malty, lively on the tongue with a weak attempt at bitterness in the finish. Similar to a Budweiser.

12 oz bottle. Crisp and fairly refreshing in offensive beer. Sort of a soda with some alcohol in it. It goes okay with chinese food I guess. Not filling, not flavorful, not much of anything.

For what it is, it’s not bad. Pours a really pale straw color with a small white head. Not much aroma. Fairly balanced malt with light hop finish. Not much to it, but it’s ok--goes pretty well with some sushi.

Bottle. First tried this one at the ’82 world’s fair. Wasn’t that bad. Recently tried it again. Whew! skunk beer. Tastes like skunk water. Sure did change. Won’t try it again. Do not recommend.

Bottle from Cost Plus. Pours a light golden color with thin white head. Nose has a bit of hops and grassy overtones. A bit skunky. Palate is slightly sweet with just a bit of hops bitterness and a slight skunky aftertaste. This is a yardwork beer. You could slam a few of these after coming in sweaty from mowing the lawn.
