Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

I couldn’t stand this. Drank half and poured the rest out. Poured yellow with small white head. Not much aroma. Taste was watery with some rice flavor. No good.

Bottle. Pours light gold with a frothy white head. The taste is a light mix of hops and a sweet malt. Not much, but not too bad. A clean crisp taste. A lot like Heineken.

Ok I might as well rate this one since it seems to be everywhere... It’s a standard lager-ish appearance (meaning: golden, visible carbonation, thin white head). The aroma is pretty sweet, not sure if I’d call it purely "malty" sweet, but definitely grainy... and not to invoke a stereotype but I’m pretty sure they put rice in this. The flavors are pretty sweet, no real trace of hops at all, and again with the something-other-than-pure-barley-malt sweetness. Fizzy, watery but not as bad as some, pretty heavily (and artificially) carbonated. Not ALL bad, certainly better than a lot of Japanese or American macro pale lagers, but nothing I’d ever freely choose to drink again.

we get this nice beer in subic, zambales in the famous dryden restaurant... it has a hint of lychee, lightly alcoholic and a pleasant taste.

I can see why this lager is usually found in Chinese restaurants as it is a good match for big spicy meats. It looks like a Molson Golden with its transparent body and its lighter taste, which pales in comparison to a good tripel...but it has its place too..

Light beer that reminds a little bit of Heineken. Refreshing but not really tasty. Almost like a lighty-alcoolic Perrier water.

Since i live in Mexicali a Mexican town, founded by chinesse inmigrants theres a somewhat asiatic cultural presence. However this beer is utterly available in here. Sorry but this beer, smells awfully, has a good appareance, a very notorious alcoholic palate, tough its not a strong beer.

Pours no head with a white frothy rim over a lager-gold body. Smells of dead grass, dirt, and malty grains. Flavors include more dirt, cardboard, and a strange finish that suggests white rice. Sweet upfront and rice-y body all-around. Medium carbonation/body. A little flat for the style. I’m not a big fan of lagers, but this was OK.
