Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Very light and grainy flavor. Slightly grassy and crisp in the finish, but not enough to be quenching like a pils. Fairly subtle beer overall, very clean and fizzy flavor. Probably goes nice with spicy food to clean the palate.

Hint of burnt rubber, along with grassy hop. The "skunk" was gone in moments. Medium gold color with a white head that filmed immediately. Sort of a barley malt sweetness, not thinking corn or rice at all. Unfortunately it is a little light on the bitter, and the finish does seem to have a hint of skunk. I’m a bit sensitized to that sort of aroma, because I used to work with mercaptans. Methyl mercaptan exploded all over me once. Whether it was light blemished or the skunk is natural, it is not a bad beer. Heck of a lot more character than many lagers.

Not as bad as you might think for a pilsner type beer. I mean they ship it all the way from China and it has spring water from the Laushan mountain.....Actually its prob brewed in MO. IT has a little differnt type flavor to it than usual macros- not better jsut differnt...

Light buttery aroma with hints of malt and hops. Very pale colour with averege head and carbonation (for a pilsner that is). Light fresh taste, with some hops in the aftertaste. An ok (chinese) euro-pilsner, that would have been very boring had it not been for the halfway decent hoppy aftertaste.

Pales a very pale golden colour, with no head and a white ring. Aroma of malts. Flavour of malt, malt, a little dash of hops, and malt. Nothing offensive really. Just really malty. Refreshing i suppose, goes alright with strong flavoured foods. But there are much much better beers out there.

This was an exciting beer for me as it was one of the first I drank while exploring the world of beer. Poured from a bottle. It pours fairly golden with a faintly tan thin head that doesn’t vanish too quick. What really stands out in my mind about it is the palate. It almost seems to grip the back of your mouth. I enjoyed it, but I think more so because it was something new.
