GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 29, 2006 Bottle at Green Mango (Thai restaurant). Pale gold with a good sized white head. Aroma is surprisingly not skunky - there’s some sweet malt in there, some vague lemony hops, a hint of rice. Body is light and crisp. Flavour follows the aroma - sweet malt, toasted rice, quick herbal hops. Not amazing by any means, but better than I remember it being. A good match for spicy and greasy food. Borup (1345), Albertslund, Denmark Dec 29, 2006 Bottle. Golden colour almostb without head. Aroma and flavour of hops and rice. Real a dissapointment. Had heard rumours about some hoppiness, but it was a just watery beer to my vietnamese nem (springrolls). turbothy (717), Bonn, Germany Dec 27, 2006 Pale yellow lager. Had it cold with a 10-course chinese dinner for which it fitted perfectly, which explains why I’ve upped the Overall score a bit :) jonno (538), Brisbane, Australia Dec 26, 2006 Updated: Feb 8, 2007Definitely a bit of a surprise with its crisp tart taste and refreshing finish TrojanMan (43), USA Dec 11, 2006 Tastes like a US macro at a premium price. If you close your eyes you’ll think its a Bud. taunusmies (276), Finland Dec 8, 2006 Looks clear and pale golden in the glass. Light and a bit sparkling mouthfeel. A quite common lager. OK, but not a unforgettable one. TechMyst (166), Fox River Grove, Illinois, USA Dec 5, 2006 This offering had no head or lacing. Color was the palest of yellow. Aroma was that of a rice lager. Mouthfeel was light to medium and fizzy. Slightly resinous palate. Crisp, light taste, quite nice for a lager actually. I’d revisit this one; especially if I were out to retire some replicants...
