Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Pours light golden with a mostly receding white head and an effervescent body. Aroma of graininess, adjunts, glue, sweet candied malts, wet grass clippings. Taste is cooked veggies, rice, very neutral aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin bodied with fizzy, slightly foamy carbonation. Not too good.

Thin head on pouring, dissiaptes quickly. Hints of grass, and lemon. Noticeably malty and good hoppy flavor. Comes across as rather flat, but feels frothy in the belly.

A very crisp and refreshing beer. Nothing overly complex or interesting. Good for a hot day.

Low grainy aroma with a pour that is strawlike and a white head. Little flavor except for a graininess and weak finish.

Bottled. Slightly skunked aroma. Pours a very pale amber with a slightl but lacy white head. Taste is somewhat nutty, but there’s not much going on here. Probably a good beer for people who don’t like beer.
