Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Golden-colored, small white head. Sweet grainy aroma. Taste is also somewhat sweet; not bad but lacking any complexity. Pretty boring, but drinkable. Singha is better.

Pleasant but nothing special. I’ve had this lager a dozen or so times and never seems to impress me. Malty and lacks zing, not really refreshing

This beer is a lot better than the average American macro-brew; it’s lacking compared with the average euro-import, or good American brews like Yuengling. Sweet but not offensively so, some hops and some bitterness. Overall my complaint is of the body--it is thin as water. If they made this one a little bit richer and fuller, it would be a decent beer.

Pale yellow with a head that fizzed out quickly. Malty and a bit watery, but crisp and cool.

Bottle. I was impressed for a pale lager. Tsing Tao has a smoothe taste still it is not a high end beer.

Bottle. For the price of this beer I don’t think it’s worth it. No defining aroma. Decent appearance with a decent head. Flavor is’nt bad but not great. The good thing about this beer is that it goes well with chinese food.

The 12 ounce bottle poured a clear, golden colored beverage with a small fizzy white head that dissipated very quickly and left no lacing on the glass. The aroma was skunky, grainy and malty … not very well balanced if you ask me. The body was thin and weak with slightly flat carbonation and a watery texture. The taste started off on the sweet side and then slid to a quick bitter finish. This is not one that I would choose to drink.

Bottle. Grainy with perhaps a little malt. Sweet thin fizzy body. Boring and not really possible to complement it by saying its crisp and refreshing, but at least it was cold.
