Straw colored, and poured so exactingly by the waiter as to leave no head (I seem to recall medium-sized head when I poured as normal). Typical skunky lager aroma dissipates quickly into barely-there floral scent. Taste initially nuts and hop, then malt, with nuts winning out, but not much to either side. Slight sweet aftertaste. Doesn’t have the "there’s a headache coming" taste that American lagers have, but that may be due to no teenage-years overexposure to this beer. I swear I can taste rice in the bottom. OK beer; just now learning at 45 I’m not a light lager fan. thegreenrooster (1841), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Smells like a fireworks factory. Flavor is typical lager. Heineken like in more ways than one. berkshirejohn (1826), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2007 330ml bottle. Golden colour; white head fades immediately leaving it rather flat looking and lifeless; watery, some hops and malt - refreshing. That’s all. rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 22, 2005 Very pale yellow hue, shy foamy head, skunky smell at the opening of the bottle, pale malt, mild floral accent, maybe hint of vanilla in the nose, follows through on a light-medium bodied palate, with crisp pale malt, touch of soft maltiness, in very light hoppy finish. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2006 Bottle. Light honey body with no head. Nose-sweet adjuncty skunk. Taste-mildly sweet, not a big adjunct taste, no skunk. This beer is not surprising in what it has, it is surprising in what it is missing-no burnt plastic, corn, rice, skunk, or bitter taste. Very mild with just the right amount of sweetness. SURPRISINGLY good! oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Pours bright gold into a snifter. Bright white head recedes to skim surface and hug rim. Skunk aromas. Crisp and slightly sweet upfront with a sour finish. Doesn’t taste as bad as it smells...
