Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Is it because I’m not turned on by the Asian pilsener? Yes and no. It has more in common with Thai and Mexican beers than Japanese or Indian. Limp, weak beer.

What did I just run over. This takes the cake when it comes to skunky smell. Wow. Head was small and flavour was stinky and rather bland. Quite fizzy with an unpleasant finish. With all the people in China, there must be better beers. Bring them and I will sip away.

Good clean crisp, not at all a bad beer, good but slightly lacking in the taste department, but good, some lacing head, funny enough, it went down very easily and smooth! the bitterness is what i liked, and not to carbonated so its easy drinking...

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a fizzy white head. Grainy aroma, a bit of hay. Light body. Lightly sweet malt profile, just a hint of floraly hops. Drinkable.

Bottle. Pour was a bit skunk, but when I let the head settle, aroma mostly mild hop. Certainly can tell the adjunct used in this one is rice. Flavor isn’t bad, and when cold, nice pair to Chinese food.

12oz Bottle My first and last China beer. i don’t buy stuff from China any way. But I had to kill my China rate. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way. This brew was skunk juice mixed with dirty China water.

Bottle. Poured yellow with small white head and almost no lacing. Nose was very mild, mostly of rice. Some hops in flavor. Not much mouthfeel and no fiinish. Very bland.
