Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Bottle. Poured yellow with small white head and almost no lacing. Nose was very mild, mostly of rice. Some hops in flavor. Not much mouthfeel and no fiinish. Very bland.

Bottle. Pours light gold with a frothy white head. The taste is a light mix of hops and a sweet malt. Not much, but not too bad. A clean crisp taste. A lot like Heineken.

I’ve had this crap a few times in the past but just recently had it while dining out with the family on Chinese. My wife and daughter both remarked how funny the beer looked and my wife said "is it supposed to look that pale?" I confirmed that it was and she said any less yellow and it’d be clear. Ha! A clear beer! While most of us scoff at the idea, the majority of the masses drink crap like this everyday. I found no redeeming qualities to this beer, nor did it make the food better (or vice versa). I sometimes find Mexican beers enhance the flavor of the food, but this did nothing of the like. Not quite water-like consistancy in the mouth, I doubt I’ll be drinking this again ever. Ughh...

Very clear yellow colour, small and diminishing head. Maybe just one hop in the aroma; some carbonation, simple beer, no texture, little bit wattery. Almost no finish.

Sample- 355 ML bottle- Poured a short lived white head. It lasted as long as the head would on a glass of cola. Light hoppy taste with the same aroma to match. Went down smooth, and was suprisingly refreshing. Nothing out of the ordinary though.

bottle. Pours a piss-yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is highly offensive and really smells like skunk spray. The flavor is pretty much rice with a nasty dirt taste in the finish. I feel like I’m committing a sin against my body when I drink this.

Bottle from a local Thai restaurant. Pours a light yellow color with thin head. Aroma is light with notes of grass, wet hay, some light yeast hints of honey. Flavor is light as well with notes of grass, yeast, honey, slight floral hop notes toward finish. Generally light body with watery finish. Not bad for a pale lager.

Bottle from Cost Plus. Pours a light golden color with thin white head. Nose has a bit of hops and grassy overtones. A bit skunky. Palate is slightly sweet with just a bit of hops bitterness and a slight skunky aftertaste. This is a yardwork beer. You could slam a few of these after coming in sweaty from mowing the lawn.
