Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Color is a pale to clear yellow with a small white head, some very small tight lacing. Smell is faintly sweet and some grain as in bread thats soft in the back. Taste is clean and sweet with a grainy backing thats lightly bread-like and finishes with a small bitter hop bit that drys slightly. Feel is light, crisp, and clean with a sweetning thats light and finishes slightly dry and bitter from hop. This was very refreshing to have with my mildly spicey thai food. Would settle for this over many other Asian imports.

Highly carbonated yellow body topped with a thick but quick fading head. Due to the green bottle, the beer exhales a skunky aroma in the first stage. Then comes a weak malty perfume. Taste is watery and lightly bitter. Palate is close to none. I am not disappointed because I wasn’t expecting more than a cheap macro lager.

Has aroma of sour apples. Little apple taste as well. What makes this beer is the springwater, gives it a nice crispness.

I liked this beer. It is a very mild beer and not the least bit substantial. However, it drank quite smoothly and left no bad aftertaste. Give it a try.

Very pale yellow color. Fizzy white quickly dissipitating head. The nose is extremely skunked, I doubt one could find a fresh version outside of China. Also hints of slight grass and light sugar. The body has a light spritz at the beginning with a surprising light hop bitterness. Gets into some sugar at the close and finishes dry and sprtizy with just a touch of dust. I'm sure there must be better beers in China.
