Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Bottle @ Chinese restaurant. Sweet lager, rice taste, slightly hoppy finish. OK.

Bright gold with white bubbly head that lasts for a little while until it recedes into a thin cover. Some pleasant noble hops and some malt to balance it with only a touch of pepe le pieu. Very little flavour that contains some hops and, unexpectedly, raisin and grain. No bitterness to speak of. Light body and good carbonation level.

Chinese Heineken... you know - Chinaken! Really not great stuff - everything you’d expect out of a lager in a green bottle.

Not bad; a hint of a bitter aftertaste but it quickly disappears. An easy drinker.

[Tasted in Sapa, Vietnam.] Real a dissapointment. Had heard rumours about some hoppiness, but it was a just watery beer to my vietnamese nem (springrolls).

Pours a clear bright yellow with a very thin white head. Ricey aroma with some skunk. Nasty skunky, rice flavor with a hint of hops and a lot of water. Very boring, very bad.

Light color full but quick disappearing head, slight hop aromahighly bubbly,a faint hoptaste, absolutly no aftertaste, has texture and mouthfeel of an American light beer. Very simple, like a seltzer water. Doesnt complement Chinnese food that well, unless you enjoy the cleansing of the mouth effect it has, whereby you savor your food more. A gulping beer, strictly to quench thirst
