Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Eh. Watery, flat and decidely undistinctive on all counts. Definite skunkiness. I can’t recommend this beer anyone, but the name is fun to say.

Although it is slightly bitter, and I like bitter, this is a fairly watery brew with little to recommed it. It would be inoffensive with dinner in a chinese restaurant.

Decent Chinese mass produced beer. Tsingtao means clear island FWIW. solid beer.

Somewhat skunky and flowery aroma. White frothy head that quickly diminishes. Light gold colour. Light bitter taste to start, finishes acidic. Unpleasant fizzy, almost sharp feel. Not great.

Light yellow pour with a fizzy head. Very light sweet malt aroma and flavor. Perhaps the reason they mention the Laoshan is that it is the main flavor element.

Clear golden blond beer with a small head. The aroma is light sweet and hoppy. The taste is rather standard lager. The bitterness is light.
