Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Pale golden color with a sickly, soapy looking white head. The aroma and flavor were so bland that I had a hard time picking anything out. Surprisingly, I got no rice or corn in the aroma...extremely mild hops...some sweetness. The flavor was mildy sweet with an ocassional hint of hops. Watery feel...very very light. Because it was so bland I really can't say much about this beer.

chinese heineken. not good, but not terrible; it would benefit from a brown bottle instead of green. best with spicy chinese food!

Bottle. Very grassy and hoppy, moderate sour. Small white foamy head, fast and fully diminishing, clear yellow body. Light sweet start, then it gets even sweeter; very short duration. Light body, light dry and watery, soft carbonation. Not my cup of tea...

Ah, nothing like Japanese beer to get the ratings up. This beer blew, but I had a nice spicy tuna roll and salmon roll with it. I love sushi.

The little Chinese place nearby lets you BYOB and that is a much better idea than succumbing to the strange acidity of this stuff.

Not bad; not great. A small step above Yankee macrobrew, as there’s a touch of flavor (hops?) to it.

12 oz bottle pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma is of some hops and a little skunky. Flavor is of slight hop bitterness and a little grainy malt.
