I’d say it’s on the sweet side with american bud-style flavor. Drink this quickly while it’s cold, as it rapidly turns flat and skunky. LoveCaissa (873), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2002 I always look forward to grabbing a few of these at my favorite Chinese restaurant. I was more than pleasantly surprised the first time I tried this.*Re-rate* This brew pours with a clear golden light body and lively carbonation. The mostly diminishing head is frothy white and average sized with fair lacing. The nose is light with hints of caramel, and flowers. The initial flavor is malt sweetness. The finish is well balanced. The texture is light and crisp and clean at the finish. Both flavor and nose improve drastically as brew approaches cellar temperature. sirPino (866), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland

Bottlebottle green, 330 ml
Appearance: This is it beer in fact? The previous Chinese beers I’ve had, had some head at least, aren’t so hazy and so flat in carbonation, this one seems to be the most popular but I start to think when I look at it if it really isn’t a beer of the worst quality. It is totally the same beer but in fact it different in their name as the same sensation can be applied to other poor Chinese beers.
Aroma: Some accidity plus cane sugar, very weak and poor, no hops, no malt, almost non existant, it is a waste of time to drink it.
Flavour: Very similar to water, a total industrail swill, very cane and total failure denoting only totally watered down adjuncts like cron and rice. Horrible nasty, poor aftertaste of cane sugar mixed with barley carbonated industrial water.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is weak, this beer really drives me creazy. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 13, 2008 I can’t believe I used to "like" this beer. Very very odd. Pours a crystal clear yellow with a small ring of white foam around the top. Aroma of apple cider, which, funnily enough, is exactly how it tastes. I don’t know if it was my batch/bottle/glass but I could swear it tasted like a cider/beer hybrid. Very odd. Undercarbonated and thin. Some notes of alcohol. No aftertaste. Done and done.
