| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jul 7, 2007 Hint of burnt rubber, along with grassy hop. The "skunk" was gone in moments. Medium gold color with a white head that filmed immediately. Sort of a barley malt sweetness, not thinking corn or rice at all. Unfortunately it is a little light on the bitter, and the finish does seem to have a hint of skunk. I’m a bit sensitized to that sort of aroma, because I used to work with mercaptans. Methyl mercaptan exploded all over me once. Whether it was light blemished or the skunk is natural, it is not a bad beer. Heck of a lot more character than many lagers. March, 2004 Pale yellow. Clean & crisp. Huge cow pat malt aroma. Surprisingly attractive. Some light bitterness. Not much happening, but an acceptable and refreshing drink. [2.2]
April, 2007 On tap at the Noodle House in Gillingham. Crisp and drinkable. Most of the character appears to come from the carbonation, and the main element of this beer is that it is inoffensive. [2.0] Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Bottle. Non-existent head. Clear golden body. Weak hops aroma. sweet aroma, too sweet hops flavor, probably because of rice. HogTownHarry (4020), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 14, 2005 Bottle (355ml) Had this with dim sum at the Pearl restaurant at Harbourfront, Toronto. Pours a clear sparkling light yellow with an average, quick diminishing white head. Aroma is quite light, mild grain (corn & wheat) and slight hops, mildly sweet but not oppressively so. Taste follows the aroma - very light and cabronated mouthfeel, quite good with spicy food but I wouldn’t have it on its own. Sammy (4013), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Mar 23, 2009 Sampled on 3/22/2009. This Pale lager pours a fizzy gold beer color from a 640ml green bottle. Small sized, quickly dissipating foamy head. The aroma is horrid, skunk, urine, cereal, some malt and then some artificial chemical smell, wet dog and cardboard, it does settle down to a bad euro lager smell after a while. A light bodied Pale Lager. The malts are cereal and grainy, with a bunch of rice. The hops are slightly spicy. Very weak and watery tasting. There is an overall taste of cardboard and wet dog as it warms. Is this supposed to be a Chinese version of Heineken? Its just horrid. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
