Strong scent of fruit, flowers, and honey over a nice light malt. Floral taste with a crisp finish. Pretty good with anything spicy. Rynoplasty (546), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

The taste is a light mix of hops and a sweet malt. Not much, but not too bad. A clean crisp taste. A lot like Heineken. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Smells of bread with light malts and something else that I am absolutely loving. Taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter and finishes similarly but short lived. I got hints of licorice near the bottom of my glass. Feels light and bubbly on the tongue. Cavie (1509), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light golden color with a small white head. Light aroma of ginger and grain. The taste is much of the same a tangy gingery bite, a slight hint of hops, and some grainy flavor. I’ve enjoyed this beer over the years for its nice flavor that is unique to it’s self. rampmaster (322), Alden, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a green 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. It has a very pale straw color that is very clear with lots of visible carbonation. The head is thin, white in color and fades out quickly leaving no lace behind. Its aroma has big floral nose with light grainy malts along with a light skunky smell. Despite the skunk in the aroma the flavor is very clean with mild floral and delicate grainy sweetness followed by a mild bitterness in the finish. It has an easy drinking light body with just enough fizzy carbonation to give it some life. Overall it’s a very easy drinking lager with a modest light flavor. Average.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2009 This was not too bad for a swill, in fact rather better than expected. Colour, head, and aroma were all pretty much swill-standard, but flavour and mouthfeel were a touch better. I’d have it again.
Re-reviewed: after having this stuff in the homeland (China), it seems a touch better than that which I’ve had at home. Maybe they keep the good stuff for their ’home’ market?
