Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

I liked this beer and think most of the comments for this beer is tainted by personal issues these people have with Chinese people and not the beer. Good taste with a pleasant after taste.

This is a very smooth beer excellent on a warm day. It has a light golden apperance and holds its head reasonably well The aroma is mildly hoppy, with malt flavours coming through in the aftertaste.

One of the only Chinese beers I’ve ever tried. Light, dry and and very crisp with a hint of maltiness. Mildly sweet finish. One of the few beers that I will drink as cold as I can get it. Love the way this one feels on the palate.

My very first Chinese beer and I’m very surprised how mild tasty it is with very little after taste. It reminds me of an American brewed beer

This is my first Asian beer, so I was tentative about it. It poured a pale amber with a sudsy-looking head. I read that some smelled the dreaded skunk, but there was none in mine. The nose was very lightly fruity with a detergent component???, unusual for a lager. The taste was excellent, light hops and bitterness and very refreshing with a nutty aftertaste. For me, a pale lager fan, this is a very good beer.

A nice pale colored lager with bright flavors. Goes down smooth and mellow. No skunky flavors at all. This is a perfect example of a great tasting lager that could easily replace the readily available Europen imports that people think they like.
