Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Very much a Chinese Heineken, with an interesting bitter taste, nothing special but worth a try

Useful when washing down your curry in the local Chinky. Not entirely unpleasant (provided it’s served v. cold), but since I’ve only ever had it to wash down spicy food, it’s a bit hard to discern anything exceptional.

A surprising beer - I didn't expect much from China, but came away pleasantly surprised. I won't eat chinese food without a stubby now and find it's crisp, lightness a perfect partner for it

An ok beer from China. I think this will be my first beer from that part of the world. Similar to Japanese beers I guess. I can’t tell the beers apart. Skunky smell, but taste is fine.

Pours a lasting white head over a pale straw beer. Aroma of hay and malt. Crisp and light. A bit of hop character (Saaz?) that gives it a snap. I think it is way better than US macros. I think it’s skunkiness varies with it’s handling and age. I’ve had some really fine ones and others that are really bad.

Clean fairly fresh aroma, not really hoppy but more interesting than most "premium lager". Flavor is somewhat grainy and a hint of earthy hops. Finish is more of the same. Very clean. I was gifted a 6 pack of this and I’m already halfway through. I think it’s underrated here, but let’s not be mistaken, it’s nothing mindblowing.

Much compact foam and creamy one; optimal persistence. Discreet scent but without pretensions, to read notes of malt and grass. Much limpid and diamond, persistent bubbly. Fresh and light taste. Balanced with a determined bitter. Unexpected.
