Not bad in any specific way; It’s just once you get past the ’Hey! Chinese beer!’ factor, it isn’t terribly unique. Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 16, 2003 This pilsener beer pours a clear golden color with a small, fizzy white head that does not linger. The aroma is slightly hoppy and grassy with a bit of sweetness from the malts and corn. It has a light body with moderate carbonation and a smooth, slightly watery mouthfeel. The flavor is slightly sweet and the hops show themselves briefly in the finish. Not bad, drinkable with no off flavors, though the flavor it does have is not very impressive. This would make a good, light beer to go with some Asian dishes. Belly Full O Beer (57), Nova Scotia, Canada

Taste is reminicent of Alexander Keith’s, not exactly a glowing indorsement to some people but I like it. Not a beer I’d rush out to buy, but it reminds me of my favorite Chinese dive in Toronto...then again the last time there I got food poisoning. Dimitri99 (63), USA

A light & grassy skunkiness transitions to light, milky nothingness topped with dusty grains. This actually tasted pretty good, with honey-coated malts and a bitterish, herbal finish. Plus, the flavor did not decline as the beer warmed up.

Nice aromas: Biscuitty, hoppy, oily, grassy, grainy. Indeed, the nose is quite nice! A graniy taste with some grassy elements. A hint of oiliness. Rather watery taste. Some oiliness comes through again just before a great dry, citrussy and biscuitty finish. A rather good lager! More than decent. SoLan (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA

Lightly sweet, grainy malt with some subtle grassy hops. Light body, a bit more carbonated than balanced. Not much going on, buit what’s there is pleasant. Pairs well with greasy, spicy dimsum.
