Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Quite decent, especially with a nice spicy Chinese meal. Very refreshing and clean.

You’re in Chinatown in London and Tsingtao is absent on your personal ratebeer list, what do you do...? That’s right, you drink this crappy lager! Not even that bad btw, nice alternative after all these bitters.

It’s the Pabst Blue Ribbon of China (even though PBR is available and brewed IN China).

There is something about this beer - no doubt. I’m giving it credit for saving my life once. It was the only drinkable beer around when I was travelling its country of origin. As a matter of factuarial accuracy I should add that the brewery was founded by Germans (which explains why it tastes like a beer).

Clear golden blond beer with a small head. The aroma is light sweet and hoppy. The taste is rather standard lager. The bitterness is light.

Pretty neutral feelings. It reminds me of Peroni or Bierra Moretti, but a little better. I am not exactly sure what makes it better, though.

Aroma reminds me of rice, has little head, but is very smooth. Has a short, fruity finish. Not bad, not great.

This beer is over priced. Kinda skunky.
