Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Grainy, pilsner aroma which was typicaly uninteresting. Palate is full bodied for a pils, watery middle, finishes balanced with a little malt. Not that bad, I could probably get sloppy off this one if I was looking for a pounder, but would probably just choose a cheap American if I was in the market for somethin’ like this.

Thin nasty looking brew. Not a good aroma. The most disturbing thing that I heard is that they add a little formeldahyde to preserve the flavor. The bottle I had was dusty in a green glass and tasted as fresh as the day it was brewed. YOu draw your own conclusions.

Not that bad of a beer, but could be so much better if it were not skunked. Kind of reminds me of Heineken, with the skunkiness and bitterness. Crisp and somewhat refreshing.

It's like the "Hue" Watery so it is refresing. Its doesn't really have a taste ... Probably it could be good with spicy food.

Not much on the aroma side, slightly fruity. Typical pilsener appearance, pouring light yellow with high carbonation. Has an unusual buttery palate that was not unpleasant. Better than I expected but lacks the crisp finish of a high quality pilsener.
