A surprisingly not unappetizing flavor, dry and lagery, much better than most American macros, it doesn’t have that corniness that you often find. Medium bodied and smooth (not crisp). It was a little less than half bad. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Tasted perfect with the spicy Vietnamese cuisine at the restaurant. It has all the normal lager characteristics, but it is a lot more sweet than the typical lager. Interesting. thehurt01 (208), Denver, Colorado, USA

The beer poured a golden body with a two finger white head. The smell is of rice and grain. The taste is mild and bitter. Good carbonation and clean mouth taste. nearbeer (1870), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Straw colored, and poured so exactingly by the waiter as to leave no head (I seem to recall medium-sized head when I poured as normal). Typical skunky lager aroma dissipates quickly into barely-there floral scent. Taste initially nuts and hop, then malt, with nuts winning out, but not much to either side. Slight sweet aftertaste. Doesn’t have the "there’s a headache coming" taste that American lagers have, but that may be due to no teenage-years overexposure to this beer. I swear I can taste rice in the bottom. OK beer; just now learning at 45 I’m not a light lager fan. tmfi (27), Gainesville, Florida, USA

A simple refreshing beer, but nothing out of this world really. downender (2633), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

However, I have drank much worse. Pale gold with a decent white head that left moderate lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and rice with a whiff of hops. Flavour was a tad sweet with a vaguely hoppy finish. Inoffensive. Alldaydrinker (558), Norwood, Massachusetts, USA

Aroma of earthy hops and a distinct yeast. Initial taste begins grainy that balance out with some toasty malts. Finishing with a minor bitter hops. Overall enjoyable. On draft in Guangzhou, China:
Not my favorite in China (Pearl River), but it is close. I don’t really consider it beer, but instead fine quality H2O. I drink a lot of it while in China to kill any pesky bacteria growing in my stomach. It has a nice hoppy taste and reminds me of a mediocre version of Stella Artois.
