Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Not to shabby for a Eastern pale lager. Malty with noticeable grass like quality. Drinkable

Bottle. - Light golden colour. Faint malty nose. Crisp, pretty light taste. - This beer is obviously not a "lifechanger", but sertainly not the worst one i have tried, plus the fact that it does go well spicy chinese food, ads up in the end..

Not one of the best beers in the world, but it is the #1 branded export from China. Typical premium lager with a little more flavor than it’s domestic counterparts.

Aroma of dusty hobs, mainly sweet malty flavor with nothing else going on. Standart, harmless and good for what it is.

Bottle. Poured a very light gold with a medium white head. Skunky, sour aroma. The palate is pretty thin but it’s not watery. The flavor is sour and bitter with a touch of citrus and very dry on the finish. Not as much malt character as a typical lager. It went OK with my spicy Chinese dinner

A deep golden yellow beer with a light effevescence. The nose is light and hoppy, with a sweet malt. The taste is weak, with hints of hop and wheat over a light malty sweetness. The finish is weak and slightly sweet. (Bottle)

The new fancy looking bottle makes this appear better but it’s not. The agressive pour still didn’t produce a cap that lasted more than 10 seconds. Nothing now. Pretty weak gold for colour but it is very clear. The aroma is mainly grains. Nothing offensive here as the smell seems fairly clean but it needs more and is just plain. Taste is pretty grainy with some nice bitterness on the finish but watery overall. Mouthfeel is decent with a foamy swish. Light bodied. Short lived mild bitter aftertaste. Reliable but boring.

Bottle. Poured pale yellow with minimal head, overly carbonated. Aromas and tastes of grassy hops. Crisp clean finish thanks to watery lack of flavours. Not offensive and not memorable either.
