Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

Crisp and refreshing. Skunky green aroma in a skunky green bottle. Decent hoppy aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Introduced to this at a Chinese place in Newport. A good match with Chinese food, I don’t think I would drink it as a stand alone.

Very full flavored lager, was expecting a lighter style beer but was pleasently suprised with this beer. Goes great with asian spicy food.

12oz bottle at a Chinese restaurant. Golden color, no surprise there. It didn’t have much smell in the glass at all. The flavor was surprisingly better than average with a fruitiness that I was not expecting from a macro Chinese lager. Great beer to pair with hot and sour soup. A basic, slightly sweet lager reminiscent of honey, oak, and grass. Best suited along side of spicy or salty food.
