Commercial Description:
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

The colour was very pale yellow amber, and there was a light head. The aroma had quite strong hops and wheat, and was quite dry. There was a fairly light biscuit and malt flavour, and it was quite dry with decent hoppy bitter finish. This was a fairly simple light lager, but quite clean.

Tried it in a Tibetan restaurant. Ironic I suppose. The beer is crisp, but at the same time watery. It is more than I expected from an Asian beer, but still not really all that great. Had a little bitter bite, but nothing really worth mentioning. Would never really search out this beer again, it isn’t really worth it, but as for a taste of China it is worth drinking it once or maybe twice.

Bottle: Light, transparent straw-colored body. More hops than expected in the nose, with a hint of carmel. Mild malt sweetness that builds in the mouth. Then the hops hit, moreso than expected. Not great by any means, but better than most Asian lagers...

The beer had a gold color and a small white head. Decent carbonation. Good clean crisp, but lacking in the taste department

Refreshing flavour with mild bitterness. Has a farily smooth finish. Malty aroma and watery golden colour. I buy this on occasion, becuase it always surprises me.

Bottle. Pours light golden with short-living head and no lacing. Qiute weak on the nose, of faint malt and hops. And weak and watery on the palate too. Not great.

Light straw color; Light very creamy body; Aroma & flavor of hops, grain, and some malt; Actually, not that bad - very refreshing.
