Faint hoppiness in the nose, maybe some malt as well. Medium bodied. Quite lively with a fresh flavour. omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 6, 2003 Bottled. Pale golden with firm, creamy head. Papery malt aroma. Sweet with clean maltiness. Bold, rounded mouthfeel, slightly burnt. Less malty and distinct than I expect a Franconian festbier to be. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 1, 2003 Pale golden, medium sized head. Sweet malty and grassy aroma. Sweet, smooth malt. Beside that, not much else. very easy-drinking. Some herbal notes in finish. rauchbier (2992), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Feb 3, 2003 Bottled. Straw gold, moderate head and good condition. Sweet grainy malt aromas with hints of hop flavour in the mouth. Soft and smooth finish with some bitterness but nothing stunning.
