Angeloregon (1488), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 13, 2008 On tap at Tugboat. Poured a murky to light amber with no body. Caramel malt notes, thin and watery. Slightly acidic and dull as sin. DrunkenWeasel (218), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 7, 2006 Not a bad amber. Smells of a balanced amount of the tugboats hops and caramel malts. Tastes equally of the two and goes down smooth. Doesn’t have too yeasty a flavor as some ambers do. Not bad. BrewDad (1528), Olympia, Washington, USA Jul 26, 2006 [Tap – Brew Pub]
A amber colored brew that was just there nothing special about this brew. The beer was light in flavor and seemed to be missing a few key ingredients. Wish I had a better beer to finish the night.
harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 12, 2006 This was definitely infected, along wih everything else that I tried from this place. Strong sour musty aromas and flavors. You can tell this has some great potential though. Pours a nice amber color with a tan head that is nice a frothy, but everything else just went sour after that. JoeMcPhee (3615), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 31, 2005 Nice ruddy amber beer. Tart fruity aroma, a bit of cherry and strawberry. Light horseblankety aroma (uh oh). I don’t think it’s supposed to be sour, but its definitely infected. I wouldn’t say the infection kills it though. Sort of ends up being a bit tart and fruity. Quite refreshing actually. Thin body.
