Pours a hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head.Sligtly roasted malty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some weak hints of hops. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel finish. Tastes equally of the two and goes down smooth. Doesn’t have too yeasty a flavor as some ambers do. Not bad. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

A amber colored brew that was just there nothing special about this brew. The beer was light in flavor and seemed to be missing a few key ingredients. Wish I had a better beer to finish the night.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 12, 2006 This was definitely infected, along wih everything else that I tried from this place. Strong sour musty aromas and flavors. You can tell this has some great potential though. Pours a nice amber color with a tan head that is nice a frothy, but everything else just went sour after that. Light horseblankety aroma (uh oh). I don’t think it’s supposed to be sour, but its definitely infected. I wouldn’t say the infection kills it though. Sort of ends up being a bit tart and fruity. Quite refreshing actually. Thin body. CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA

This was hoppier then you would expect from an amber ale, but still a nice beer to sit and read one of their books. AxeMaster221 (343), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 24, 2002 These guys haven’t served me a bad beer yet. This came out a coppery amber color, with a thin whitish head that lasted nicely. Rather dark in the pub, but it looked fairly opaque. More hops than I have ever had in an amber I think. A slight hop aroma in the nose, but quite a bit of hops from front to back in the flavor. So different from Full Sail Amber, which is my measuring stick for ambers, im not sure it should even be in the same catagory. Still, it was delicious.
